Sacred Neurophysiology Treatments

For individuals seeking deeper healing work, Anahita offers in-person treatments on the island of Kauaʻi. All in  person treatments begin with a remote threshold session.

in person sessions form the foundation of what we call Sacred Neurophysiology—an approach that recognizes the nervous system as the bridge between the energetic body and the physical body.

When neural pathways are fluid and regulated, impulses that arise in our emotional, psychological, and spiritual lives can organize safely into embodied expression—health, creativity, meaningful relationships, and a sense of purpose.

When those pathways become constricted or dysregulated, those same impulses may instead appear as chronic pain, illness, emotional reactivity, trauma patterns, or persistent life blocks.

Sacred Neurophysiology treatments work directly with this bridge between energy and physiology, integrating medical science, somatic awareness, and intuitive perception to support whole-system healing.

Medical and Energetic Training

Anahita is led by Dr. Allison Mulcahy, MD, who is double board certified in Emergency Medicine and Integrative Medicine.

Her medical training includes fellowship-level and advanced work in:

  • emergency and musculoskeletal ultrasound

  • integrative medicine

  • functional medicine

  • regenerative medicine

  • genomics-based precision medicine

  • anti-aging and longevity medicine

  • hormone replacement therapy

  • integrative psychiatry

This work includes extensive experience performing ultrasound-guided injections and regenerative procedures, allowing treatments to precisely target nerves, fascia, joints, and surrounding anatomical structures.

From 2019 through 2023, Dr. Mulcahy founded and led an integrative medical practice called Boost, with locations in Victor, Idaho and Moab, Utah. In this clinical setting she developed and delivered a wide range of regenerative and integrative treatments, including advanced injection therapies, hormone optimization, and whole-person approaches to complex chronic conditions.

Many of the foundational insights behind Sacred Neurophysiology began to emerge during this clinical work.

Alongside her medical training, Dr. Mulcahy has also spent many years studying contemplative and intuitive traditions that explore the relationship between consciousness, the body, and healing.

These studies have included training in:

  • clairvoyant traditions of intuitive perception and Trance Medium Healing

  • shamanic healing practices

  • somatic and energetic awareness traditions

  • approaches that recognize sexuality and creative life force as an important dimension of vitality and healing

Within many spiritual traditions, sexuality is understood not primarily as behavior but as a fundamental life-force energy influencing creativity, emotional health, and the nervous system’s capacity for connection and regulation.

At Anahita, these perspectives are integrated carefully alongside medical science to support whole-person healing.

The Nervous System as the Bridge

Sacred Neurophysiology is based on a central observation:

The nervous system acts as the living bridge between energetic experience and physiological expression.

Nerves function as bioelectric conduits embedded within fascial networks that carry sensation, regulation, and information between organs, tissues, and the brain.

When these pathways become restricted or misaligned, the body may struggle to process experience and maintain healthy regulation.

Through carefully targeted interventions, these pathways can often be released and recalibrated.

In-person treatments may include:

  • ultrasound-guided injections targeting specific nerve pathways

  • regenerative biologic therapies

  • autonomic nervous system reset techniques such as stellate ganglion blocks

  • somatic and nervous system regulation practices

  • energetic and ceremonial integration work

These approaches aim to restore communication between the nervous system, the body, and the energetic field.

Listening to the Intelligence of the Body

At Anahita, we begin from a simple premise:

The body is always communicating.

Physical sensations, emotional responses, and even illness can be understood not only as problems to eliminate, but also as signals carrying information about the state of the nervous system and the deeper patterns shaping a person’s life.

Conventional medicine often focuses on relieving symptoms as quickly as possible, which can be essential and life-saving in many situations. However, when symptoms are addressed only at the surface level, the deeper signals the body is sending may remain unheard.

From the perspective of Sacred Neurophysiology, symptoms may sometimes represent the body’s attempt to communicate that something in the system—physical, emotional, relational, or energetic—is out of alignment.

If those signals are repeatedly suppressed without addressing their underlying cause, the body often finds another way to express the same message, sometimes through new symptoms or recurring patterns.

The intention of the work at Anahita is not to fight the body, but to listen more carefully to what it is trying to express.

Through a combination of medical insight, nervous system regulation, somatic awareness, and energetic attunement, the goal is to identify and release the deeper patterns that may be holding tension within the system.

These patterns may arise from:

  • physical injury or chronic stress

  • nervous system dysregulation

  • unresolved emotional experiences

  • generational or inherited trauma

  • long-standing energetic patterns held within the body

When these layers are addressed, symptoms often begin to shift naturally because the underlying signals have been heard and integrated.

Sacred Neurophysiology Treatment Pathways

Treatments at Anahita draw from a living menu of nervous system and energetic pathways.

Some individuals pursue targeted treatments focused on specific nerve pathways or regions of the body. Others choose more comprehensive treatment sequences that work along the body’s vertical energetic axis.

Examples from the current treatment pathways include:

Chakra-Focused Treatments

Individual treatments may focus on areas traditionally associated with the body’s energetic centers, including:

  • Root chakra nervous system releases

  • Sacral and pelvic nerve pathway work

  • Solar plexus autonomic regulation

  • Heart-centered trauma reset techniques

  • Vagal corridor and throat pathway treatments

  • Cranial and occipital nerve releases

These treatments combine targeted nervous system work with energetic integration practices.

Full Chakra Alignment

Some individuals choose a Full Chakra Alignment, which works sequentially along the body’s energetic axis from the base of the spine to the cranial region.

From a medical perspective, this approach addresses multiple nerve plexuses and fascial networks along the spine.

From an energetic perspective, the goal is to restore communication along the body’s vertical channel while supporting deeper integration between body and consciousness.

Kundalini Alignment Pathway

Another treatment pathway focuses on what many spiritual traditions describe as Kundalini or life-force activation.

This work involves sequential nervous system treatments designed to support alignment along the body’s central axis.

Medically, this work addresses multiple nerve plexuses along the spine and pelvis.

Energetically, it is often described as supporting the awakening and integration of the body’s creative life force.

Transparency and Research Notice

Sacred Neurophysiology represents an emerging synthesis of medical procedures, nervous system science, somatic awareness, and energetic traditions.

Many of the individual medical components used in this work—such as ultrasound-guided injections, regenerative therapies, and autonomic nervous system interventions—are established clinical techniques.

However, the specific way these elements are combined within the Sacred Neurophysiology framework is new.

The integration of these medical procedures with energetic frameworks—such as chakra systems and other symbolic models of human experience—has not yet been studied through large-scale clinical trials.

For this reason, the work at Anahita is approached with transparency, clinical responsibility, and curiosity.

In many ways, Anahita functions as a living laboratory, where observations about the relationship between the nervous system, consciousness, and healing are explored in real time.

Participants who engage in this work are part of an evolving process of inquiry.

This does not mean that the procedures themselves are experimental in the sense of being untested techniques. Rather, it means that the broader integrative framework through which these treatments are applied is still developing.

All medical procedures are performed with appropriate clinical standards, informed consent, and careful patient evaluation.

Why Kauaʻi

Kauaʻi offers a unique environment for healing work.

Its natural rhythms and extraordinary landscape support nervous system regulation and reflection.

Traveling to the island often allows individuals to step outside their normal routines and engage the healing process more deeply.

Kauaʻi is also home to Anahita’s living laboratory, where emerging models of healing are explored in connection with the broader Awakening Aphrodite field.

A Living Field of Exploration

Sacred Neurophysiology treatments are part of the broader Awakening Aphrodite field, an evolving exploration of healing systems at the intersection of medicine, spirituality, sexuality, and emerging technologies.

Anahita serves as the clinical laboratory where many of these ideas are first explored and refined.

Participants who engage in this work become part of that unfolding exploration.

Next Step

individuals begin their work with the Threshold Session, a remote session designed to understand the deeper patterns shaping their health and life experience.

This session helps determine whether in-person treatments in Kauaʻi may be appropriate and allows the development of a personalized treatment pathway.
